Membership
The Board on Undergraduate Scholarships, Honors, and Financial Aids shall consist of twelve (12) members of the Irvine Division. Additionally, a representative from the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and a representative from the Office of the Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning shall serve as ex officio members.
Duties
- Recommend to the President, through the Chancellor, the awarding of scholarships according to the terms of the various conditions set forth and subject to such other conditions as the Irvine Divisional Senate Assembly may prescribe. In making its recommendations, the Board will take into account diversity.
- Make recommendations to the President through the Chancellor, to the Irvine Division, or to the Academic Senate, or to the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs regarding the policies of the University on scholarships, honors, and financial aid. In making its recommendations, the Board will take into account diversity.
